Digital Photography project #3- take 3 photos, each one showing a different cultural, social or political issue. Project requirements- the use of Posterization, color balance, levels, (etc) masks on Photoshop.
Cultural Issue- the pressure of woman to wear makeup. The right side being our natural selves, but the left side being what is more culturally acceptable. The use of Posterization in Photoshop to make the left side look almost fake.
Political Issue- same sex marriage. The photo is of 2 woman, you can tell by their nail polish. The colors in the background show pink for a woman, and blue for a man which is the way our culture views marriage as being appropriate.
Social Issue- The social drinking aspects of our generation, and drinking over spring break in warm climates and the destruction we cause not only to ourselves but to our environment.
